BAGONG BILI O BAGONG LABA?

Bagong Bili o Bagong Laba?  This was the question that confused netizens, mommies in particular, when photos of Melai Cantiveros and Alex Gonzaga appeared on social media, wearing identical OOTD. No one can figure out the answer as both the outfits of Alex and Melai looked brand new!

To solve the great mystery once and for all, Tide hosted “Bagong Bili o Bagong Laba Fashion Walk-Off”, an interactive fashion show last July 31 at White Space, Makati. Excited guests took part in a game that proved how brand new whites look no different from clothes washed with Tide.

Mrs.Wise was particulary excited that day, to be reunited with her former "alagas".  I worked with Luis Manzano in SQC, as we toured 8 provinces searching for the next big star.  Melai, on the other hand, was a dear housemate when I was working in PBB.

So it was a happy day as I saw them again in Tide's Fashion Walk Off.  Other celebrities joined the event -- as they strtted to confuse the crowd even more.  Bagong Bili o Bagong Laba nga ba ang mga suot nila?

Just like everyone in the audience, it’s hard to tell the difference between bagong bili and bagong laba with Tide.  But in the end it was revealed --- Melai was wearing a brand new outfit, while Alex wore an outfit na bagong laba.

“We know how important it is for Filipinos to have the best-looking uniforms and everyday wear, but we also know that with repeated use, clothes usually look dingy. That’s why we’re delighted to present Tide, which in one wash, keeps clothes looking like new.” ends Procter & Gamble’s Country Marketing Manager for Laundry, Jonn Terence Dy.

With its great cleaning power that removes dirt while brightening whites, your OOTDs can still have that “looks like new” look even after repeated usage, getting that surprising wow from everyone.
Sa Tide,  sa isang laba, mukhang bago!
