REASONS TO INVEST, RESIDE AND EXPLORE PAMPANGA!

Two years ago, I was part of Northpine's Blogger Appreciation Tour held at Pampanga.  It was a very memorable day as I visited Montana Views for the first time, and explored the taste and sights of Pampanga!

Two years after, and this super fun event happened again. Thankful to Northpine Land Inc. for the invite again!

MONTANA STRANDS:  TRULY A WISE INVESTMENT IN CENTRAL LUZON!

Speaking of investment, me and the hubby learned through experience.  As I have mentioned in my other articles, this year was significant because we finished our 10-year mortgage (at last).  If we are to purchase another investment, Montana Strands in Barangay Calulut, San Fernando City will be top on our list. Why?  Here are several reasons:

  • LOCATION:  It is only 1.5kms away from NLEX Mexico Exit, making it very accessible. I also like waking up, with the mountain greeting me (as I do every day in our QC home).  Mt. Arayat will greet you every single day at Montana Strands
  • PROXIMITY TO PROGRESS:  Expansion at the Clark airport has commenced December of last year, and the government envisions it to be a world-class international airport in the future, catering to 8 million passengers. There is also a plan of building the Tutuban-Pampanga railway - which makes Pampanga very accessible through land, air and even water (Subic Port).  Accessibility means more business, tourists and opportunities.

Montana Strands caters to start up families and "empty nesters" (parents whose grown up children are already living on their own or abroad). The lifestyle houses will be built on a 6.5 hectare property, priced at 2-3m.

EXPLORING PAMPANGA

If you decide to buy a property in Pampanga, and eventually settle there, you have to know what the province offers in terms of places to visit, where to eat, fun and entertainment. Here are some of the fun things we did during the Bloggers Event.

SHOPPING FOR PAROL AT ROLREN's LANTERNS

Known for making Christmas even brighter not only in the City of San Fernando but also in some parts of the world, RolRen's Lanterns has already established its reputation for being one of the largest parol suppliers in the Philippines.  Mr. Rolando Quiambao is regarded as the Philippines' Parol King.  While most of the bloggers embarked on their own parol-making, the hubby and I decided to shop!  We were really looking for the perfect capiz lantern to hang in our home.  And we got it!

APAG MARANGLE

Its name means "hain sa bukid", the restaurant's dining area is located in the middle of the pond. If you are looking for authentic Kapampangan cuisine, do visit Apag Marangle!

SAN FERNANDO TRAIN STATION MUSEUM

This old train station was the endpoint of the 102-km walk from Bataan to San Fernando during the World War II Death March. It was also visited by Dr. Jose Rizal in 1892. If you want a glimpse of Philippine History, visit this museum.

CLARK MUSEUM AND 4D THEATRE

It was a rare experience watching in 4D the explosion of Mt. Pinatubo. Complete with wind, bubbles, mist and moving theatre chairs!

Clark Museum also features a wide array of artifacts, old photographs and paintings that show the rich culture of Pampanga.  The kids/teens will definitely love the 4D and museum experience.  Fun while learning!

MATAM-IH

Dinner at Matam-Ih was memorable. Because for the very first time, I ate crocodile meat and kamaru (crickets).  The frogs -- I didn't eat, but the hubby enjoyed it hahaha!

Matam-Ih is an aboriginal Aeta word which means delicious.

L.A. BAKESHOP

A taste of Kapampangan hospitality as they gave us something we can bring to our family back in Manila >> Cheese Bread from L.A. Bakeshop!  Super delish, specially with brewed coffee.  The teens loved it!

I would like to share with you guys the FUN we had at the Northpine Land's Bloggers apprediation tour of Pampanga!  Watch the video and see for yourselves!
