REVIEW: HEALTH AND GLAMOUR ORGANIC PRODUCTS

Hi there momsies.... you still feeling healthy and beautiful.  Dapat lang.... Mommies like us must prioritize our health, because it is needed for us to be able to nurture our families.

How do I make sure I am always healthy?  Lots of sleep, lessen stress, eat natural and organic food.  I still maintain my little organic garden with turmeric, lettuce, kale, arugula and stevia.  So if I crave for something healthy, all I need to do is pick a some fresh produce.  Ang saya!

And of course, I am always on the lookout for products that jive well to my organic interest. Am lucky to have reviewed some organic and all natural products, given to me by my awesome friends.  A "healthy" collaboration indeed.  From dishwashing soap, to anti dust mites, to the zika and dengue fighting mosquito repellant -- I am blessed to have tried them all  :)

I recently discovered HEALTH AND GLAMOUR PURE ORGANIC PRODUCTS, a company that distributes wellness and beauty products.  H & G provides consumers a better option to enjoy organic natural products that protect one's health.

Their raw materials, as I was told, come from Mindanao.  And they use the finest organic raw materials. So their price is a little bit pricey compared to non-organic products --- but it is at par with their organic counterparts.

This is my review of four of the products they gave me:  


PURE ORGANIC COFFEE:  WITH CORN AND TURMERIC

Boiling fresh turmeric, to be enjoyed as tea, is really an acquired taste.  Its mildly aromatic and has that gingery taste.  That turmeric flavor is present in this pure organic coffee. Combined with cocoa and coffee, the gingery taste has been subdued. Bagay ang kombinasyon nila. When paired with your favorite biscuit, the turmeric-corn-coffee blend is enhanced.  Perfect for snack time.

PURE ORGANIC COFFEE: 

Drinking 3-in-1 coffee in the morning is a routine. I have tasted ALL the flavors of the leading coffee brand.  But this pure organic coffee, gives you the probinsiya feel.  It brings back the feeling of brewing local blends, or even roasted rice coffee.  That flavor, with a hint of cocoa is the perfect partner for tapsilog in the morning.  This brew is not bitter, not too sweet.  Just a mild taste of organic coffee.  (pic)

PURE ORGANIC POWER MEAL

The Sales Executive of H & M recommends this or people who are always in a hurry that they have no time to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner.  It has 12 healthy ingredients:  wheat, corn coffee, soya meal, coco sugar, flaxseed, chia seed, cacao, mornga, black rice, coffee, non-dairy creamer and spirulina.

VERDICT:  I prepared it by putting hot water. I liked the chocolatey flavor of this pure organic meal.  The cereal and black rice, you can actually chew.  Drank it around 9am, as my second breakfast  (i discipline myself into having 2nd breakfast because I need to gain weight), and I didn't feel hungry for 2 hours.  I think it is a healthy substitute to just plain coffee in the morning.  Because of its fiber content and what some health enthusiasts call as "superfoods" -- flaxseed, spirulina and chia seed.

NATURE'S CARE HEALTHY TOOTHPASTE

My initial reaction to this toothpaste, not so foamy. Hindi talaga siya mabula.  But once you used it, the effect is long lasting.  I tried it one night, before going to bed.  I woke up, and surprisingly, no "morning breath".  Thumbs up for this toothpaste that is made from moringa extract.  


Over-all, the health products were impressive.  Would LOVE to do a review of their glamour products soon.
